美西南采花小調
這篇改了題目，多是從Kanab沿89號公路經過Page到Grand Canyon的地貌野花。天陰，照的不好，大家隨便看看。對於沙漠植物，我曾一無所知，抽空查了些資料，看圖識字找名兒，有些半猜的（用了可能，大約的字樣），也有壓根兒不知道的。希望博學的朋友指正指點。
（1）Zion，桔黃色的是Globemallow (Apricot Mallow)，黃花很像插花用的gerbera，但難以想象gerbera可以在這麽幹燥的氣候下生存：
（2）Zion，Mormon Tea，有意思的名字：
（3）89號公路從Kanab開出來大約一個多小時，有個方圓最多兩英裏的地方，紅石紅沙。停車看，沙漠植被很豐富，有條幹枯的河床，一定是下雨時沙漠瀉水之處：
（4）這個粉紫色的花，非常小，直徑半厘米左右，可能叫Red Maids：
（5）白花的花球有雞蛋大，大約是Desert Sand Verbena：
（6）這是一種灌木，正待開花，叫Cliffrose，開起花來非常芬芳：
（7）這個白花根據花（四瓣）和枝葉形狀，應當是Primrose的一種，查了說是Dune Evening Primrose：
（8）這個小花兒非常小，隻有米粒大，查不著名字：
（9）特別形狀的石頭：
（10）居然路下有個大卡車的殘骸：
（11）繼續上路，這是Desert-Marigold：
（12）奇特的地貌：
（13）Yucca：
（14）Blue Phacelia, 背景是LAKE POWELL，天陰的很，遠景照片有礙觀瞻。趴地上照這張照片，照完一看，mama mia！地上很多黑色毛毛蟲，近在眼前的，可以欣賞它的長睫毛了！跳起來再不敢在沙裏滾。去看大馬蹄的沙路上，也看到各種一兩寸長的蟲子。希望它們成為美麗的蝴蝶。春天沙漠裏很多蟲！
（15）石縫裏的花兒很醒目，是Tufted Evening-primrose：
（16）走近滿地都是，網球大的花兒馨香撲鼻。午後開謝，合起來變粉紅色：
（17）這張裏有兩種黃花，右邊是Desert-Marigold，左下兩朵大的，根據花型，也應當是某種primrose:
（18）亂石裏的黃花是Western Wallflower，粉的是謝了的Tufted Evening-primrose
（19）路上有個地方看Glen Canyon Dam:
(20) 那裏的層層紅石很有特色：
（21）這花有半人高，是milk weed的一種。看相可怕的條紋蟲在吃，它極可能就是有名的君主蝶（Monarch butterfly）的幼蟲。君主蝶的壯舉，是每年跨過北美大陸的徒遷，用四代蝴蝶來完成一個周期。它們在墨西哥和加州過冬，聽說過冬地是一種旅遊奇觀，蝴蝶掛滿了樹從。
（22）蜿蜒在峽穀裏的Colorado River:
（23）大馬蹄，論壇上好照片很多，我來一張直直向下照的河穀，有人在玩船。啊哈，我不恐高；卻恐不傷人害命的蟲。蠢啊，然而我也不想蠢，can’t help！
（24）Yucca，普通的沙漠植物，北方也用於幹燥的石頭或者沙土花園：
