【內容簡介】
尋人密探組是非常引人入勝的情節係列劇，該劇講述的是關於美國聯邦調查局失蹤人口小組的故事。這個特別小組的唯一任務就是通過應用心理分析技術來抽絲剝繭受害者的生活，並試圖發現他們在哪被綁架、被謀殺、自殺或逃跑，來找出他們目前的行蹤。
該小組重建了“失蹤日”時間線，這個時間線非常詳細的描述了失蹤者失蹤前24小時每一分鍾的情況，他們遵循一個原則：要找出受害者在哪，必須先了解受害者。
高級探長Jack Malone（Anthony LaPaglia飾）是個非常有經驗、很嚴肅、非常重感情的人，他帶領著全小組成員奮鬥著，因為他們知道有人失蹤的時候，每一秒對他們來說都是很重要的。他的小組成員包括Samantha Spade (Poppy Montogomery飾),一個長的很漂亮的金發女郎，但是其實她對自己的工作很能吃苦；Vivian Johnson (Marianne Jean-Baptiste飾)，一個很實際的調查員，她很能洞察受害者家庭；Danny Taylor (Enrique Murciano飾)，他非常世故，非常敏銳；還有Martin Fitzgerald (Eric Close飾)，他作為新人去年就獲得一個獎章，有很耀眼的前途。隨著小組遇到各種各樣的複雜的案件，他們自身生活也發生了很多故事。
