有關I-140的審核地點

By: Beth Robertie, Esq. 之前我們報道過有關USCIS 的Bi-specialization initiative程序，所有的I-140申請會先由Nebraska Service Center (NSC) 接收，然後再將其中一半的申請轉到Texas Service Center (TSC) 。不少人問到關於NSC和TSC將怎麽分配這些I-140申請。根據TSC最近的指引，如今我們知道Nebraska采取的方式為每隔一天所收的案件平均分配。也就是說今天為Nebraska明天為Texas。這也就是為什麽我們看到同一個州的案件，有些留在Nebraska有些送到Texas去。因為USCIS收監及郵局寄送的日期我們不可能知道，申請人也就無法對自己的案件送到那個中心有所控製。 Because of the recent bi-specialization initiative at USCIS (for information about this initiative, please click here), all Immigrant Visa Petitions (I-140s) are being sent to Nebraska Service Center (NSC). From there, half of the petitions are forwarded to the Texas Service Center (TSC) for adjudication. We have received many questions regarding how the Service is deciding where to send the petitions. According to recently received guidance from TSC, NSC will transfer all cases received every other work day to TSC. In order to ensure that the correct priority date is assigned, a receipt date is assigned to each case when it is originally received at NSC, and then the cases are forwarded to TSC every other day.
