有關EB-1的優先日期

之前我們為大家報道了有關現時中國大陸的EB-1申請者不再需排隊的信息(請參看我們6月14號的文章) 。美國移民局USCIS將開始調整審核部分申請。如果已經排到你的優先日期，以下為一些注意事項： As many of you know the priority date for EB-1 petitioners from mainland China is once again current. The USCIS will now begin to adjudicate the various I-485 applications for adjustment. It is important to keep in mind, however, that this adjudication is a slow process. Here are some things that waiting petitioners should keep in mind when their priority date becomes current: * Please be patient and wait 180 days after your priority date is current before contacting USCIS in order to avoid slowing the processing of your petition. * Although the priority date is current, the application to adjust (I-485) will not immediately be adjudicated. You should also check the processing date of your Service Center, which is different from the current priority date. Processing dates of the Service Centers are optimistic projections of the dates that that Service Center is processing. * Once the service center actually begins to process your application, then your approval will depend on other factors, such as the FBI background check and presence of current biometrics. The FBI is notorious for delaying this process and their checks can sometimes take years to clear. Unfortunately, at this time there is no way to get the status on an FBI check. We must simply wait for their approval to come through.
