vincent和這首and i love you so
那首大名鼎鼎的american pie也還沒有聽過
 
常常會想
有著這麽溫柔的聲音的人
會是什麽樣子呢
一定也擁有溫柔的眼神吧

他的歌中
沒有呐喊
有的隻是輕聲細語的訴說

        如果用“迷人”一詞來形容美國民謠歌手唐·麥克林(Don　Mclean)的歌聲，相信沒有人會反對。
也許許多人對Don Mclean的敬意始自他第一首在排行榜上奪冠的單曲American Pie。而更多的中國聽眾則是因為那首堪稱世紀絕唱的Vincent(Starry Starry Night)，觸動了人們心靈深處對淒美最完美的渴望。雖然在樂壇上的時間並不長，也沒有締造多首暢銷單曲，但他的確是一名非常優秀的歌手，這點從Eric Clapton曾在聽過Mclean彈吉他後形容他為「技藝精湛者」；及1973年由Roberta Flack演唱的Killing Me Softly With His Song,這首歌的靈感來自作者Lori Lleberman、Charles Glmble和Norman Fox看到Mclean在洛杉磯Troubadour演唱後的感受，這兩個小故事就可以印證。而他所建立的知名度，也是大多數與他同時期的歌手所望塵莫及的。
