Dreams -- Fleetwood Mac

英籍樂隊Fleetwood Mac在1967年成立之初是一個以吉他手Peter Green為主導的藍調搖滾團體。經過多次的換將與音樂風格的嚐試，團中鼓手Mick Fleetwood、貝斯手John McVie、鍵盤手兼主唱Christine McVie漸成重心。1974年美國籍主唱Bob Welch離團後，原活躍於加州的男女二重唱Lindsey Buckingham和Stevie Nicks加入，於是開創了Fleetwood Mac最璀璨輝煌的年代。憑藉Lindsey、Stevie、Christine鐵三角的作曲主力與三位輪流擔任主唱的特色加上明亮、輕快的搖滾風使該團不僅在1975-87年間發表的五張錄音室專輯和一張現場演唱實況專輯張張精彩、銷售奇佳，他們與老鷹合唱團同為加州搖滾最具代表性的樂團。可惜的是Lindsey Buckingham和Stevie Nicks相繼在1987、1993年宣布離團發展個人演唱事業。

　　樂隊於1993年入主搖滾名人堂，成為名垂樂史的搖滾樂隊，Fleetwood　Mac對80年代之後的流行樂壇具有十分廣泛的影響。他們的經典歌曲被無數大牌藝人無數次的翻唱。很多國際當紅歌手成名後，都在不同的場合承認Fleetwood　Mac的音樂對他們的影響是具有啟迪性和意義深遠。如Eve Cassidy翻唱過“Song bird”，The Cranberries翻唱過“Go Your Own Way”、“Dreams”，The Corrs亦曾翻唱過“Dreams”......
