他的嗓音和唱法包括長相，象個痞子 ···卻有著磁性的嗓音。來自底特律的Uncle Kracker，自1987年認識Kid Rock於一個DJ比賽會場，因為在音樂的喜好上有著許多相似之處，從R&B、Soul、Hip-Hop、Rap、Country、Blues等多樣曲風，都是他倆愛不釋手，且廣為涉獵的音樂元素，很快的兩人便常膩在一起搞音樂。經過十餘年的努力，Kid Rock終於在樂壇熬出頭，並占有搖滾界一席之地，而多才多藝的Uncle Kracker也在2000年跳脫長久以來合作夥伴樂團Twisted Brown Trucker展開個人音樂事業。於Kid Rock自設廠牌Top Dog旗下發行的「Double Wide」首張專輯，不僅一舉衝破雙白金紀錄，更在超強單曲"Follow Me"的推波助瀾下讓全球更多樂迷喜愛及認識Uncle Kracker。
