出發 2006年10月14日雨

我們於10月14日下午離開家，前往目的地拉斯維加斯。我先生開車，我和孩子們坐在車上。這幾天，我一直都很疲憊。上得車來，竟然迷迷糊糊地睡過了Illinois, Missouri, 醒來時，竟到了OKlahoma, 我們去McDonald吃了早餐。

外麵淅瀝瀝的下起了雨，我一點也不喜歡雨季，到也讓我想起了我的故鄉，一年四季似乎有下不完的雨，總是很潮濕。然而，雨水也使故鄉山清水秀，使故鄉的女人也出落的水靈靈的。突然想起小時候的朋友，軍軍，佳佳，小小，自從93年離開故鄉，來到美國後，童年的夥伴早已杳無音信了，平時忙碌的都沒有時間去想他們了。

先生打斷了我的思緒，他開始評論起地形來：small trees, cattles. "Kids , look at the land, grassland is good for cattles." 先生和孩子們一問一答開始了。

"Are there any buffos left?"
"No, they are all wiped out."

My kids always has endless questions, especialy my oldest one. He was even awarded Most Inquisitive Kid in the kindergarten. 我看著窗外，看到一片片sage ,想起了那首感人深情的歌曲：Scarborough Fair

Texas 10－15－2006 Sunday Rainy

我一邊聽著音樂，看著窗外，不知不覺的就來到了Texas。已經是中午11：30了，我們去Hooters吃了中餐。Hooters是以酥脆鮮美的chicken wings 和性感健美的waitress而聞名。

Grand Canyon 10-21-2006

As soon as our van arrived in Grand Canyon, "It is Grand Canyon. It is a miracle." my kids cannot help shouting excitedly.

那天的太陽是如此的亮，天是如此的藍，藍天白雲，映著壯觀的大峽穀，我不得不感歎自然的巧奪天工。
