回複 'valore' 的評論 : In my opinion, Google monopolized and consolidated all voices of the world, and monopolized on the ad dollar monetization. So every media is poor and voice less. Google has stupidified the world to one page summary. AI will go for one paragraph summary - shallow information. But if Google power diminishes, then at least the stranglehold on media, news papers will relax, and everyone will get some dollar from advertising. Maybe more media will be more dignified. I hope :-)

Do you believe the information of the world can fit on page 1? if you do, then you will never agree with me. Google has been a super monopoly of information, this is NOT healthy, especially for impressionable youth. Everything you see on Youtube and Search is based on algorithm. That algorithm favors money. It makes ordinary soles have no voice, whereas liars like Temu, Shein and Tiktok can cheat all they want. In such cases, Google is a willing player to bend their own rules to favor the big companies. Big players can buy spots and can hide bad reviews. Google is no better than Baidu.
No matter AI is bad (I agree). No matter Google has its own AI. While Google had a healthy income, they did not help to make the world better place. They just went along and let big money play their willing audience.
Google made their SEO and keyword so ARCANE and hard to figure out, they are clearly not favoring any ordinary people.
Google's page rank favors page loading speed. If your page takes more than 10 seconds to load, it will not be recommended. This is insanely stupid.
In any case, I am not suggesting Google is intentionally doing evil things. But they did not do enough good. Now, their entirely livelihood will gradually be replaced by someone who is more evil.

Gmail use: Free. Youtube: Free. Map use: Free. Chrome: Free. Cloud: no one use. Self driving car: never saw one. Google provide many great service, but they can not charge the user a cent. They can only charge the advertiser, like Pinduoduo, Temu, and Shein.
When Google removed the "Don't do evil" moniker, it basically started to use SEO for pay. It is the time when it starts to fleece everyone.
I don't hate Google. I just state a fact.
