跟本校的CS教授做，cs funding

Dissertation will include ML/physics so still physics program. Done with all classes and qualifying exams already. To switch to cs program, there would be classees to make up, qualifying exam to take. Not worth the hassle. 

Physics program may sound cooler, but looking for cs professor position may not be as easy as from straight cs program.
