求推薦學校

國內同學的小孩，在澳大利亞讀的高中，成績一般，ABC都有，雅思7.0， 有繪畫特長，得了些全國水平的獎，請問申請美國哪些大學好，不求名校，來美國讀書就可以，專業在申請時可以是藝術類，但以後想轉STEM，私立學校的學費可以負擔，但公立學校便宜更好，謝謝！
