It's a very loving, caring, nurturing community,  a perfect place to learn, explore, grow, while also having fun!  One thing that you need to be aware and she will figure out quickly is that hockey will not be as big part of her life as before.  There are so many interesting activities at Brown, her priorities will change, she will join new interest groups,  which are all good.  Club hockey in college, like all club sports in general, aren't nearly as structured or intense as her AAA hockey.  As to the decision to not play D3, absolutely the best decision.
