Retake but will negatively affect the outcome of match

In general, especially students from below (and average) medical schools.  Step 1 with P/F change does not mean the reduction of medical educations qualities (the bar for P); actually, the opposite...lots of medical students misunderstood this and made less efforts on studying for P,  leading to F indeed.
