關於need-based financial aid

提交申請之後收到幾所大學的郵件，有的讓conform the applicant does not intend to apply for need-based financial aid，有的讓apply for financial aid，但我們的家庭收入和資產情況肯定是不符合條件的，女兒在common app上選的是not intended for need-based financial aid，也沒有填過FAFSA 或CSS。這樣是不是就不用管它了？我的理解是收入超標拿不到資助就選擇"not intended for fianncial aid"
