Here are median earnings 5 years after graduation for freshman CS admits who graduated in 2017, i.e. the most recent year for which there is five-year-after data:
$252k Berkeley
$248k UCLA
$172k San Diego
$166k Santa Barbara (75th percentile = $257k)
$160k Davis (75th percentile = $240k)
$113k Santa Cruz (75th percentile = $149k)
$103k Irvine (75th percentile = $156k)
$102k Riverside (75th percentile = $157k)
If you think you'd be the median student at Berkeley/UCLA but a 75th percentile student at SB/Davis, then you seemingly don't gain much from attending the former over the latter. At least, based on this crude data.
