借人氣問一下，有人熟悉康奈爾的Cornell Presidential Research Scholar嗎？

娃又收到康奈爾的郵件，說他被選進了Cornell Presidential Research Scholar，錢貌似部分是research funding、部分是stipend，沒多少，每年大概6000刀的樣子。

郵件上說這個每年的新生就給40人，很selective的樣子。

不知道有沒有人熟悉這個program？還是就是發點小錢用來勾引admitted新生早日commit的？請有經驗的大俠賜教？

學校的email前半部分是像這樣的：

Dear XXXX,

Congratulations again on your admission to Cornell University.

I am writing to let you know that you have been selected as a Hunter R. Rawlings III Cornell Presidential Research Scholar. This program is sponsored by The Cornell Commitment and is named in honor of Hunter R. Rawlings III, the tenth President of Cornell University. You have been selected for this prestigious program based on your academic achievements and the interest you have demonstrated in research, inquiry, and discovery.
