Academic rep: about equal. (both are a tad below H/M/S, but close)
Pre-med: both are good choices, but Y has a medical school on campus
STEM rep: P is a tiny bit better, especially in engineering & CS. But Y has very decent and well regarded science programs.

Social life on campus: Y is a little more laid-back and inclusive. More welcoming.
Business & Law paths: about equal. 但Y更“左”一些
Overall, Y tends to have more happy students.
But they are really quite close overall and they are very solid at the #4 or #5 of US colleges in terms of national and worldwide recognition.
