GaTech vs UIUC

和一個朋友聊天，她家在佐治亞州內，說是學校前幾名的才錄GaTech，聽起來很難進。查了一下，去年錄取率17%。

而UIUC錄取率竟然高達60%。

這兩個都是CS牛校，CS錄取率當然低很多。

一直以為這兩個學校差不多，都是工程和CS很強，研究生院排名高。沒想到本科的整體錄取率會差這麽多。有沒有了解的說說？
