African Americans were slaved in this country and we, as a society, should all feel deeply ashamed and try to compensate. We've all got that! Did the boy from the "almost all-white town" tell the boy of Indian ethnicity that he's a slave, or the word come out from a different (not so hostile) context? Not saying nothing was wrong though. To be honest, I sometimes couldn't distinguish a child of Indian ethnicity from an AA.
