It could be that it was the first day of the first reader, or the last day of the first reader, or the first reader was experimenting with a new scoring system, or the first did not actually read the application. It could be that the application went to the committee for review, the advocate had a bad day at home, or maybe at the donut shop, or one entitlement goddess was debating with another entitlement goddess and actually agreed that there were already too many entitlement kids. In that case, it is a valuable lesson learned in the early age.
