我家自推娃的好消息！

我是個放羊媽，所以極少來逛子女教育壇。今天收到女兒被她最心儀的學校西北大學錄取的消息，很開心。忍不住來誇誇娃：D

女兒是比較聰明，但不是絕頂聰明的。從小到大幾乎沒參加過比賽。但是她自己知道學習努力，每天基本是半夜以後才睡。她是 well rounded 學生，每門功課都不錯，也沒有為了 GPA 而放棄GPA 低的choir, 也沒有為GPA 放棄午餐去選AP課. 學校排名到senior year 才出來。發現她居然在這個本地最好的公立學校裏排名12。比我們想像中好太多。她在校內校外組織參加了不少活動，是學校的大使之一，被counselor 選出來得榮譽獎，這在95%白人的學校是不容易的。

我最開心的是高中四年，女兒成長為一個善良，真誠，有愛心，有親和力，各方麵全麵發展的孩子！

祝她在大學裏能有更好的生活和學習，開拓視野，結交良師益友，成為更好的自己！
