It is not where you go, it is how you use its resources

I went to a college admission panel for parents yesterday.  Here are some of my take-home messages.

1.  How does your child define success in college?

2. How do you define success for your child in college?

4.  How does your child define failure in college?

5. How do you define failure for your child in college?

6. How will your kid handle and repsond to failure?

7. Get involved with a community

8.  Get unconformtable from time to time.

9.  Ask and seek help.

10. College is more than classroom learning. College is an experience, a quater of this experience can not be shared with parents.
