upholding your claim? did you point out to them their inconsistency in the other case? what did they say?
the supplier is bust, you've gone to the bank and the FOS to try to recover, not sure what 'alternatives' there are other than going to court... but i'm by no means an expert and have no such experience...
before going to court, you need to do your homework to understand the financial implications of losing the case and the probability of it on the legal ground...
if there's no legal ambiguity, go for it, but this is unlikely the case since the FOS didn't uphold it. if there is, go for it if you can bear the financial consequences of losing the case, otherwise, do not do it.
