The reasons you mentioned above will not through somebody out for the first time. There is no such a reason 'University's letter wasn't met the criteria'. Had to know what are the real reasons. Is he/she work more than 20 hours a week? or The university don't recognize he/she a full-time student? If so, he/she got no chance to stay!!! Unless stay here without a valid visa.
