If the Dad has PR, the baby should entitle to the following benefit:1) Child benefit £80 per month in 2009 tax year rate; 2) One off Health in Pregnancy Grant at £190, which can be claimed at least 25 weeks pregnant; 3) £250 Child Trust Fund voucher once the baby is born.
Has the mum given birth yet? or still in pregnancy? The Midwife should be able to advise on these matters.
