New Chinese Passport

I am going to apply for a new Chinese passport from Chinese Embassy at London. However, my UK visa is on my old passport. Will my UK visa on the old passport be still valid, after I change for a new Chinese passport? The embassy will cut the old Chinese passport (I was told). Will it be a problem if I enter UK next time using the new passport?
