It is the Largest city in Andalucia. I gather you know where Andalucia region is. But you most likely do not know it is the region the Moorish has ruled for centuries. Hence the Reconquista.
It is the gateway of Costa del Sol. Also it is the birth place of Pablo Piccaso. almost 600K population.

I were you I would put Granada on a return visit, that would also includes Codobra. Take a look on the map how these 3 cities located, Seville, Codobra, Granada.
You could also add Vallencia next trip, and the Costa del Sol.
