"In Flagella Paratus Sum" (I'm ready to the scourge), is the new work of art made in black marble by Italian artist Jacopo Cardillo, aka Jago. A young refugee lying on the ground, in the middle of Sant'Angelo Bridge in Rome. The figure, curled up, represents one of the thousands of people who travel every day to escape war, drought and persecution, suffering every kind of humiliation during the trafficking.
