Voterra 不值得開車去看（它位於錫耶納最西邊）。 San Gimingnano 給了我們一些意想不到的驚喜。

五月初, after a long cruise 我們在托斯卡納 自駕 7 天.  鑒於過去幾年遊客過度訪問 San Gimingnano, 我們對它沒有太大的期望。 但是發現那些沿著通往城鎮廣場的小路排列的商店非常有趣，讓人們爬上城鎮廣場去不那麽累。

We started from Civitavecchia, the port 1.5 hr train ride west of Rome.  Headed north to Tuscany.  On way we stopped at Orvieto before going East, spent the night at Spoleto - highly recommend this 中國遊客 幾乎不知道的 town in Umbria, just east of Tuscany,  if one has plan to visit Assisi. 

Orvieto Duomo well worth the time.  它的外立麵比錫耶納大教堂更漂亮、更精致。

In Tuscany we used BonVoy's property Four Points just north of Siena as our base to explore Val d'Orcia, the little towns thruout Tuscany.  Probably not many here have visited Cortona,  because it is on the far East from Sienna.  The Santa Magherita Cathedral is well worth the drive, also is a place for the pilgrims. 

10多年前來過五漁村，行程的一部分是在渡船上仰望。那時遊客已經太多了。

五漁村與聖托裏尼非常相似——非常上鏡，但遊客太多太多太多了。 如果沒去過，可能去一次滿足自己，但老實說，兩者都不值得專程去。
