Miami University and University of Miami are two different schools.

Miami University is at Ohio, a little town called Oxford.  It is a Public school.  Cannot ever compare with the top public schools in the US such as the severals in the California system, or the University of Michigan or Georgia Tech... 

University of Miami is at Miami, a private school with a medical school that is definitely within the top 10 Med Schools in US.
