直至 1977 才有 military status thru a Congressional Act.

然後到 2001 她們的貢獻才被 真正recognized.

她們是 Ferry Pilots 擔任運輸工作，包括那些B52戰機。都是 The Fly Girls delivered to the battle fields.  They freed up the male pilots to fight in the sky.  真正的幕後英雄。
