You mentioned that it requires permit to go to sharm el-sheikh, but it's a little confusing. Some people went there without permit, but I could be wrong. I'll not have time to go there this time, maybe I'll take cruise to go there whenever possible. Looks that you've been there before. Otherwise, flying from Amman to SSH is on the way to CAI.
