You know that we are not talking about the historical background. I bet you do not know any more than I do, just that I dont care to argue with those who cannot stop to show of their knowledge of history just because they live in Europe, but not necessarily know more.
The back garden is purely geographic location - we can go down to Caribbeans everyday within a few hours flight, Can the Europeans do? Again, nothing to do with the historical background on the Caribbean countries.
