暑假想去Madrid and Barcelona. 有幾個問題想谘詢一下

我們在大波士頓地區， 暑假想去Madrid and Barcelona. 有幾個問題想谘詢一下：

1） 兩個城市各自住在哪個area比較好？安全第一，方便第二。有沒有好的hotel to recommend (3-4 stars are preferred).

2)   What's the easiest way to go between Madrid and Barcelona? (thinking of flying out to Barcelona, take train to Madrid, then fly back from Madrid to Boston)

3)   We are planning to spend about 10 days total, should we just split 5-5 between the two cities, or you think one city deserves more time than the other?

4)  Do we still need to do COVID test on the way to Spain and on the way back to US? (all fully-vaccinated).

5) Any other tips and advices you can share would be greatly appreciated!
