Recently during booking tickets on United site, at the payment screen, a Chase offer shows up.
40K miles after $3K spend in 90 days, AND $300 Statement Credit after 1st spend (does not need to be on United, Any spend, even just $1). $95 annual fee waived first year.
It is among the better deals. It showed up last year then disappeared. Now it showed up again when booking a United ticket. You can make a dummy reservation, at the payment screen there would be an Ad on the screen, telling you if you are instantly approved for the card, then your $300 statement credit is immediately available to offset whatever cash amount on this purchase...
Public offers currently for personal card 60K / $3K spend in 90 days, then another 10K after $6K spend within the first 6 months (incl the first $3K spend). $95 Annual Fee also waived first year.
For business card 75K/$5K first 90 days, then another 75K after 20K spend within the first 6 months (incl the first $5K spend), for a total of 150K. $99 annual fee not waived.
So it depends on whether you prefer 70K, or prefer 40K Plus $300. on the personal cards. I myself prefer the latter. Because 70K requires total spend of $6K... The additional $3K spend can be used for opening another card for another sign up bonus.
Please note Chase credit card applications have some strict rules. You need to fully understand those, comparing to your own situation, before submit a Chase credit card application.
