We are looking for a summer vacation place for a family of 4 (2 boys age 11 and 13). Alaska package (land + cruise) seems to be too pricey (over $10,000) for 11 days or so in both June and July. Haiwaii is not cheaper either (8 days package for 2 islands is about $7,000 plus food/activites/fees, etc, which may come close to $10,000, in both June and July.
Any other interesting places for boys you would like to recommend other than above 2 places? we have been to both East & West coasts by the way.
