Too bad, the article itself is very well written but US embargo is real and furious against Cuba.  In 1996, there is even a US law Helms-Burton act which penalized any company in the world has trading relationship with Cuba and has anything to do with old US-owned land and building and any Cuban-owned property who was in US at that time.  This law was trying to scare off companies in other countries to trade with Cuba.  Canadian and Mexico governments were very angry and Canada had a counter law against any Canadian company from reporting their trading with Cuba to US authority.  Yeah, US was a bully at that time and tried to stop other country's trade with Cuba.
