Being to Bologna twice during last two years. It is absolutely fabulous and a hidden gem.

We stayed once at this hotel, which is run by two brothers, located not far from the center. Their rooms are decorated like Royal palace, delicious breakfast, plus a free botle of wine per day. Strongly recommend it:
