We went to Chichen Itza last year while on the RCL Oasis of the Seas. However, I would not recommend the trip since the site was not impressive and round trip took almost 7 hours and you only get about 2.5 hrs to walk around the place. After the ship docks at Cozumel, there was a 30 min ferry ride then an almost 3 hr bus ride to get there. You can't climb up on the pyramid anymore and there really isn't much to see. If you want to see ruins, my friends went to Tulum that's only about a 15 min bus ride after the ferry(also tour from ship) and it's right on the beach and looks much more spectacular. I think all Royal Caribben ships that go to Cozumel offers the Chichen Itza tour but my friend was on Norwegian and they don't offer it.
