I was put to a mixed dorm near Amsterdam Central although I booked the female-only dorm. I arrived at 11:00 pm. One man was sleeping on an upper bunk bed.  No one else was in the room at that time. I choose an upper bunk bed and slept without taking off clothes. Later, more people came back. In the morning, I found a girl was on the lower bunk bed. We had breakfast together. She said she stayed in the mixed dorms many times. Anyway, I don’t like the mixed dorm. If I had known it was a mixed dorm, I would pay Euro 120 to stay in a regular hotel room. If you are a man, it is another story.
