It would be fine if you are two adults, but I would think twice if you bring two teen daughters with you!

Safety is not much a concern, awkwardness/inconvenience appear more a practical issue. If you already spent big money in a beautiful cruise, why let 100 euro of a hotel room ruin your dream vacation?

Hotels near airport have free shuttles starting 4am.
