Try this. Be sure that it's not too far from the campus. Many students use bicycles year around.

Take a Greyhound bus http://www.greyhound.com/ make sure to select as destination: Bryan, TX (Bryan is a neighboring city to College Station -a couple of minutes away- and the Greyhound station is located there)
