Our Thanksgiving in Maui 2001

we went to Maui the Thanksgiving's Day 2001, that's just two months after 9/11 and going thru airport security took about 3 hrs, not too bad. There are still a lot of people there, stores are still open and almost all the restaurants. and if you love seafood, then it's heaven. just go to any place with a LOT of people. and forget the chinese (well, it depends where you're coming from) The water temp is warm enough, swiming, snorkling, no problem. But it can be raining days, and we were lucky it started just after the day we took off. good place for a vacation. worth going back the 2nd time, the 3rd, ...
