They know when to say "when" - some enhancement is good, overdoing it is not.
You can create some surreal effect with certain degree of saturation, but when it is too much, it only makes it "artificial". At least that is overly articial to me. It actually diminishes the other good points, such as the structure of the picture, the unique lighting, and even the details.
All the details on the face of the rocks are lost in those over-saturated colors.
Dont think so. The true "Pro" pix do not overuse this trick
