See you through a glass of young riesling
See you through a glass of young riesling,
drawing me are the dimples in your cheek,
where my heart’s swirling,
and sinking into the love I seek.
Drunk on a summer night
I was drunk on a summer night,
half on the Port wine,
half on the candle light,
flickering in your eyes and mine.
My hands were too shaky to pour you another drink.
But my feet strove to wobble towards you.
Into you my world was to shrink.
A world held in my arms tight and true.
My head swirled and sought for a pillow,
found your laps that were mellow.
Your fingers combed my hairs,
mesmerizing me like a lullaby.
Your breath tingled my nose and sweetened the air,
immersed me in a cherry burbon pie.
Dark Ale
Let’s leave all bitterness behind.
Let’s have one more dark ale.
Charge into that perpetual headwind,
Towards the paradise we sail.
Sail, sail, till we see the paradise in our mind.
Till our brain turns pale.
