哪位高人可以幫助回答一個中國文學裏的故事？請見內

一個同事說他家客廳裏有一幅中國畫，是關於 “two men saying good bye to each other.  I was told that it is based on a classic Chinese novel in which one man is going to travel for many years and he and his friend recognize that they will never see each other again."

他想更多的了解這個文學故事，有高人知道這可能是什麽典故嗎？多謝!
