I cannot agree with what you have indicated on the GDP data

of the Mainland and Taiwan currently and past.

Using your brain to think rather than following other's arguements will immediately suggest that the data you said here are absolutely incorrect.

Do you trust that '就GDP總量來說,91年台灣GDP占據大陸總量的45%還要多' is right? Absolutely nonsense! Think about it. The fact is the Mainland China 1991 GDP was at least 20 times higher than Taiwan.

A simple estimate indicates that Mainland China 2018 GDP per capita was $28900 US, that was also higher than the Taiwan figure.

Here is why China 2018 GDP per capita was ~$28900 US, almost three times higher than the officially pronounced figure.

Last year, China electricity production per capita (EPPC) was 5000 kwh, surpasing the entrance threshold required for so-called a developped country. UK EPPC was 5024 kwh last year, indicating the each British produced 24 kwh more electricity than a people in China. Notably, UK 2018 GDP per catipa was $42450 US, whereas China 2018 GDP per capita was $9950 US based on China Statistics. A simple comparison suggests that China GDP has been much underestimated for years!

You may recall Taiwan lacks of adequate eleccity to power its economy, suggested by the blackout last year affecting many's normal life. This is reality!

Today's Mainland is much more advanced in terms of modernization, infrastruture, daily life, etc, when compared to Taiwan. I really do not understand why so many people in the Mainland still overlook what they have!
