You are free not go to their restaurant. Restaurants have right to refuse service cheap customers! The most peaple don't know both sides have the rights to refuse each other. however, it is customer's obligation to pay tips if he got the service from server no matter service is good or bad! Restauranr can call poloice to force customer to pay the bill and tips in US. Do you think the dishes are flying into your table automatically! by the way, you don't need tip for vendor machine and most fast food place!!!
If you don't want to tip more than 15%, never, never go to restaurant. It is cheap to cook at home and wash your dishes, service for your self.
