Besides, in Mainland China, there are also elections.
There are more meaningful elections over time. However, I do believe that having general elections in China will do more destruction than construction. I have learned not to put my ideology above everything. I care about the well-being of everybody. You do not.
The US democracy does not fit Mainland China at all. Look at Taiwan, what a mess. The people in Taiwan could have lived much better, it there were not the never-possible independence chaos.
