Before, PROC and ROC both fought for the legitimacy of representing China.
Obviously, ROC failed but continued to argue for it.
So, most countries in the world said they support "ONE CHINA" and that is PROC.
However, whether Taiwan is part of China is another issue.
You can do you own study and you will find most countries will not say Taiwan is part of China.
For example, U.S. only "acknowledges that China claims Taiwan is part of China".
This is the fact no matter you like it or not.
